The Gilmer Lady Cats were back on the softball diamond for two more region games.
Above is Clear Creek Middle School softball player Maylee Bramlett. The Cats returned to the diamond for four softball games and faced White County Friday, Aug. 18, and came away with a 6-5 win.
The county’s cross-country runners all gathered at Meek’s Park.
Above are members of the Gilmer High dance team. They will join GHS cheerleaders at football games, and their competition season begins in November.
Gilmer’s offense could not be stopped.
The GHS Bobcats ran around and through the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors to begin their football season last Friday.
Clear Creek Middle School’s football season got underway with two wins.

The Gilmer High Lady Cats have yet to find themselves on the winning side through the early softball season.
CCMS cross country was in Jasper last Saturday for the Pickens Preview.
The Clear Creek Lady Cats (246 points) placed ninth, while the Bobcats (313) were 12th in the boys standings.
