Mr. James Pinkney Manning, 84, of Ellijay, died Friday, Sept. 3, 2021. He was born May 6, 1937, in Ellijay, to the late Benjamin Franklin and Isabell Arizonia Newton Manning. He was a member of Northcutt Baptist Church and served honorably in the U.S.

Mr. Michael Louis Capanelli, 50, of Ellijay, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021. He was born in Flushing, N.Y., March 25, 1971, to Diane Capanelli. He was an accomplished musician and was employed by the Blue Ridge Arts Center in the Music Education Department.

Mr. Ronald Carroll Gravett, 73, of Ellijay, died Friday, Sept. 3, 2021, at Piedmont Hospital in Jasper, after a three-week-long battle with COVID-19. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1948, to Cloren Lee and Billie Jean Gravett. When he was 5 years old his family moved to Orlando, Fla.
