Mrs. Sara Lynn Wheeler

Mrs. Sara Lynn Wheeler, 78, of Ellijay, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021, at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper.

She was born in Gilmer County Nov. 26, 1942, to the late Clifford Miller and Polly McClurd Miller.

She was retired from Shaw Industries and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by first husband, Bobby Bramlett; and grandson, Zane Gayton.

She is survived by husband, Clarence Wheeler; sons, John Bramlett (Jackie) and Billy Wheeler (Tonya); daughters, Vivian Gayton (Keith) and Elaine Garrett (Bill); brother, Billy Miller; grandchildren, Emma and Chris Garrett, Jana and Eric Grno, Damian Wheeler and Seth and Sarah Shelton; and great-grandchildren, Jaxon Frady and Charleston Grno.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2021,  in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Wallace Parks and the Rev. Glen Arnold officiating.

Interment was in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Seth Shelton, Christopher Garrett, Keith Gayton, Bill Garrett, Jaxon Frady and Eric Grno.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
