Mr. Lawrence “Larry” Randolph Tuckett, 64, of Ellijay, died Thursday, April 22, 2021. He was born March 9, 1957, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., to the late Norman Lynden Renick Tuckett Jr. and Iva Lucille (Carrick) Tuckett. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and had a passion for cars and airplanes.

Mr. Tarrell Bryan Martin, 58, of Chatsworth, died Saturday, April 17, 2021. He was born June 19, 1962, in Ellijay, to the late Baxter and Claudia Davis Martin. He acquired an associate’s degree through the Navy and was a veteran. He was employed by Mohawk as an electrician.

Mrs. Brenda Sue Willis Cagle

Mrs. Brenda Willis Cagle, 78, of Columbus, N.C., passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021. She is preceded in death by husband, the Rev. Robert (Bob) Grady Cagle; parents, Homer Henry (Hoke) Willis and Ruby Harper; and sisters, Shirlee Evans and Jane Neece.

Mr. Ronald George McClure,  60, of Ellijay, died Sunday, April 11, 2021.  He was born July 31, 1960, to Donald Marlin McClure and Dora Lorene Davenport McClure, in Ellijay.

Mr. Dorsey Baxter Cochran, 89, of Ellijay, passed away peacefully into eternal rest Saturday, March 13, 2021, at his home.   He was born April 4, 1931, in Gordon County, to the late Earl Burt Cochran and Ollie Marchie Johnson Cochran. He was a member of Ellijay First United Methodist Church.

Randall James Payne

Mr. Randall James Payne, 66, died Saturday, April 3, 2021, at his residence in Talking Rock. He was born in Jasper, Dec. 30, 1954, to the late Ralph and Ruby Selves Payne.  He was a road builder, employed by the Newells Road Building Company, and was a member of Talking Rock Baptist Church.

Anthony Andrew Marlow

Mr. Anthony Andrew Marlow, 59, of Ranger, died Tuesday, April 6, 2021. He was born May 27, 1961, to the late Woodrow Edward Marlow and Imogene Patterson Marlow in Gilmer County.  He was employed by the Goldkist poultry company and worked as a team member in the packaging process.

Mrs. Gentilee Baine Taylor

Mrs. Gentilee Baine Taylor, 82, of Ellijay, died Saturday, April 10, 2021, at her residence. She was born in Cherokee, N.C., Jan. 27, 1939, to the late Jason Baine and Mamie Payne Baine.  She is preceded in death by husband, Clayton Taylor; and sons, Wendell Taylor, Claude Taylor and Bill Taylor.

Mrs. Barbara Jean Monahan Nickle

Mrs. Barbara Jean Monahan Nickle, 80, of Ellijay, died Saturday, April 3, 2021. She was born June 15, 1940, to Joseph Holden and Elsie Ellen King Monahan in Chester, Pa.  She graduated as valedictorian from Eddystone High School.
