Mrs. Gentilee Baine Taylor, 82, of Ellijay, died Saturday, April 10, 2021, at her residence.
She was born in Cherokee, N.C., Jan. 27, 1939, to the late Jason Baine and Mamie Payne Baine.
She is preceded in death by husband, Clayton Taylor; and sons, Wendell Taylor, Claude Taylor and Bill Taylor.
She was retired from Blue Ridge Carpet and was of the Baptist faith. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Paula Taylor, of Ellijay; brother, George Baine, of Cleveland, Tenn.; sisters, Birdie Hart, of Murphy, N.C., Pat Price, of Murphy, N.C., Marilyn Hughes, of Florida, and JoAnn Weeks, of Canton; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2021, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home.
Interment was in the Yukon Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Chris Edmondson, Terry Fendley, Allen McCan, Danny Willis, Junior Baines, Vann Baines and Sammy Lewis.
Honorary pallbearers were Tony Graham, R.L Howard and Grady Graham.
