Mr. Tarrell Bryan Martin, 58, of Chatsworth, died Saturday, April 17, 2021.
He was born June 19, 1962, in Ellijay, to the late Baxter and Claudia Davis Martin. He acquired an associate’s degree through the Navy and was a veteran. He was employed by Mohawk as an electrician.
He is survived by the intended, Gwyn Dooley, of Ellijay; daughters and son-in-law, Rhonda and Matt Townsend, of Chatsworth Carrie Martin, of Pierson, Fla.; granddaughters, Emily Martin, Chloe Townsend; grandson, Eli Townsend; brothers and sisters-in-law, Keith and Brenda Martin, of Ellijay, Gary and Kim Martin, of Ellijay; sisters and brothers-in-law, Teresa and Billy Weeks, of Ellijay, Sandra and Jeff Williams, of Cartersville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2021, from Gates Chapel United Methodist Church with Minister Butch Jones officiating.
Music was by Kourtney Gregory.
Interment was in Gates Chapel United Methodist Cemetery.
Full military honors were conducted by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
Pallbearers were Matt Townsend, Billy Weeks, Josh Martin and Phillip Cross.
Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
