Mr. Randall James Payne, 66, died Saturday, April 3, 2021, at his residence in Talking Rock.
He was born in Jasper, Dec. 30, 1954, to the late Ralph and Ruby Selves Payne.
He was a road builder, employed by the Newells Road Building Company, and was a member of Talking Rock Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by wife, Geraldine Payne; and sister, Mary Ann Weaver.
He is survived by son, Randy Payne; and daughter, Angelia Payne, both of Talking Rock; brother, Jerry Payne, of Talking Rock; sister, Katherine Mashburn, of Jasper; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2021, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Glen Arnold officiating.
Interment was in Yukon Cemetery.
