Above and below are Gilmer County swimmers who wrapped up their season at last weekend’s Georgia Recreation and Park Association’s Class C State Championships in Baxley.

Gilmer returns an experienced roster for the upcoming season, which includes rising junior Jackson McVey.
Gilmer swimmers Elizabeth Kucera, above, and Rylee Fountain, below, both qualified for the upcoming state swim meet. Gilmer swimmers will make their way to Tifton for the state championships July 20-21.
