My name is Ed Forrester. I am currently an East Ellijay City Councilmember, and I am running for re-election.  I have been on the council since 2015, when I was appointed to fill out the remaining term of the late Gene McClure. I am now in my second term.

Indictment handed down in Build An Ark case

An indictment has been made in a Superior Court case involving the former proprietor of a local animal rescue and petting zoo. Susan Littlejohn, who operated Build an Ark Animal Rescue, was indicted on 10 charges last week. Of those, six are felony aggravated animal cruelty charges.

I’m Veronica Kincaid, and I’m blessed to say that I have lived in East Ellijay my entire life.  I’m the daughter of Gail Painter and the late Ronnie Kincaid. My grandparents, Jim and Dorothy Kincaid, raised me on the same street where I still live today.
