Ruth Marie Hyatt Caudell, 83, of Ellijay, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021.  She was born Nov. 5, 1937, to the late Seth Luther and Mattie Lee Quarles Hyatt in Ellijay. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ellijay.

Mrs. Lillie Davis Sanford

Mrs. Lillie Davis Sanford, 88, of Ellijay, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021. She was born June 16, 1932, in Gilmer County, to the late Robert and Janie Dotson Davis.

Mrs. Tammy Denny, 55, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, at her residence.

Vondell Cochran Evans

Vondell Cochran Evans, 81, of Ellijay, died Monday, Feb. 1, 2021.  She was born Jan. 29, 1940, to the late Clifford and Josie Mary Ellis Cochran in Ellijay. She was a member of the Ellijay Church of Christ and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Lisa Michelle Parks

Lisa Michelle Parks, 54, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021.  She was born July 15, 1966, to Clarence “Junior” and the late Mildred Williams Farmer in Copper Basin, Tenn.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ellijay and worked in the banking industry for over 25 years.

Wilburn Champion

Mr. Wilburn Champion, 82, of Talking Rock, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020. He was born May 4, 1938, in Gilmer County, to the late John Henry and Annie Mae Watkins Henry. He worked as a logger for Bent Tree Road Department and was a member of Ludville Church of Jesus Christ.

Mildred Irene Spivey Corbin

Mildred Irene Spivey Corbin, 78, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021.  She was born April 14, 1942, in Ellijay, to the late Ennus Fuller and Hattie Pearl Wood Spivey. She was a member of Tails Creek Baptist Church for 54 years and was a sanitation engineer for the Gilmer County School system.

Mrs. Hilda Ray Sanford

Mrs. Hilda Ray Sanford, 65, of Ellijay, died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.  Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the funeral home. A complete obit will be available next week.

Mary F. Greer Davis, 67, of Chatsworth,  died at Floyd Medical Center Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021. She was born June 6, 1953, in Ellijay.

Rebecca Bailey Lee

Rebecca Bailey Lee, 67, of Ellijay, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020. She was born Feb. 18, 1953, to the late Wallace and Eloise Smith Bailey, of Summertown.  She was a member of Summertown Baptist Church and the 1971 graduating class of Swainsboro High School.
