Recently, we lost an incredible man! Larry Danny Hill expired April 3.

A Gilmer County native, he retired here some five years ago. He lived his life well.

Mrs. Rethia Sanford Dotson, 93, of Ellijay, died Friday, Oct. 11, 2019.

Mrs. Margaret A. Rhodes Ledford, 74, of Cherry Log, died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital of Ellijay.

Mr. William Fredrick Fail Jr., 82, of Ellijay,  died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019, at his residence.

Mr. Charles Emory Chesnut Jr., 94, died June 5, 2019. He was born Dec. 17, 1924, to Charles Sr. and Carrie Gatlin Chesnut, in Clarkston.

Mr. J.G. Dover, 89, of Ellijay, died Friday, Oct. 4, 2019, at the Sonshine Manor Personal Care.

He was born Dec. 24, 1929, in Ellijay, to the late Cicero and Cora Crawford Dover. 

Jacqueline Cook Milam, 86, of Blue Ridge, died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019.

She was born Aug. 8, 1933, in Cliftondale, to the late J.R. Cook and L.E. Pierce Cook. 

Mr. Dale Conn Lingle, 78, passed away peacefully Monday, Oct. 7, 2019.

Mr. Bobby Gene Barnard, 71, of Palm Coast, Fla., formerly of Ellijay, died Monday, Sept. 23, 2019, at the Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.

Mrs. Betty Irene Holloway Chancey, 85, of Cherry Log, died Monday, Sept. 23, 2019, at  Parkside Ellijay Skilled Nursing Care.
