Mrs. Shirley F. Long, 81, of Ellijay, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019. She was born June 8, 1938, in Gilmer County, to the late Freeman and Elzie Chastain Long. She was a homemaker.  She is preceded in death by husband, Dee Long; son, Chris Long; daughter, Jennifer Long; and brother, Leon Long.

Mrs. Mary Clay Daves, 88, of Chatsworth, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2019, at Chatsworth Health Care. She was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church in Ellijay. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking, sewing, camping and fishing.
