Cartecay Thrift Store has reopened after being closed for more than three months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Proceeds from store purchases benefit several local community nonprofits and outreach organizations.

GHS prom moved to Huff-Mosley

The Gilmer High School prom will be held Friday on Pettit Field at Huff-Mosley Memorial Stadium.
Original plans called for prom to be held at the Gilmer County Agricultural Education Center on Clear Creek Middle School’s campus, but that changed Monday morning.
