Mr. Lynn Vence Ozment, 72, of Ellijay, passed away suddenly Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, at his Rome residence. He was born in Birmingham, Ala., June 1, 1949, son of the late Buford Vence Ozment and the late Nannie Lee (Nan) Kelly Ozment. He was a graduate of the University of North Georgia.

Mr. Harry Dean McClure, 71, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., formerly of Ellijay, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, at St. Thomas-Rutherford Hospital. He was born in Woodstock Jan. 22, 1950, to the late Paul McClure and Ruth Wright McClure. He loved his family, and was loved by all who met him.

Mrs. Glenda J. Burnett, 74, of Ellijay, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, at her residence under the care of Heartlite Hospice. She was born in Terre Haute, Ind., Feb. 9, 1947. She later resided in Phoenix, Ariz. Then, Durant, Fla., where she retired from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
