Mrs. Patricia “Patsy” Ann Holt Gudger, 84, of Ellijay, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022, at Piedmont Mountainside of Jasper. She was born June 8, 1937, in Gilmer County, to the late Truman Holt and Addie Sisson Holt.

Mr. Fain Scott Sr. was born Nov. 28, 1935, in McCall Hospital. Dr. John Turner McCall signed his birth certificate. Parents were Paul Dean Scott and Era Evelyn Hammond Scott. Grandparents were William Miles Scott and Sally Brown Scott, Melvin W. Hammond and Naomi Durham Hammond.

Frederick ‘Buddy’ Griffith Record

Mr. Frederick “Buddy” Griffith Record passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, at the age of 74. He was born in 1947 in Boston, Mass., to the late Marguerite and Frederick Record. He joined the Navy in 1967, proudly serving in Vietnam with his fellow Seawolves.

Mr. Charles Frederick “Freddy” Goble, 68, of Talking Rock, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2022, at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. He was born Sept. 30, 1953, to Roscoe and Gwendola Goble in Jasper. He is preceded in death by mother and father, Roscoe and Gwendola Goble; brother, L.C.

Mark Allen Adams

Mr. Mark Allen Adams, 71, of Ellijay, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2022. He was born June 21, 1950, in East St. Louis, Ill., to the late Cyril Lonnie and Mary Christine Miller Adams. He was a member of Revolution Church of Jasper. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard.

Mrs. Betty Ann ‘Bib’ Dale Southern

Mrs. Betty Ann “Bib” Dale Southern, 70, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022. She was born Aug. 20, 1951, in Ellijay, to the late Jesse Perry and Nena Belle Gibson Dale. She was a member of Flat Branch Baptist Church and was retired from Robert Shaw.
