Mr. Morris Holden, 91, of Ellijay, died Thursday, April 7, 2022, at his residence. He was born in Gilmer County March 7, 1931, to the late Toy Holden and Candy Stover Holden. He was retired from the construction industry and was a member of River Hill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Johnette J. Hood, 86, of Ellijay, died Saturday, March 26, 2022. She was born Jan. 19, 1936, in Boston, Mass., to the late Aram and Gertrud Johnian. She was a graduate of Winchester High School and Fisher Junior College. She was a loving mother, grandmother, auntie and sister.
