Mark Allen Adams

Mr. Mark Allen Adams, 71, of Ellijay, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2022.

He was born June 21, 1950, in East St. Louis, Ill., to the late Cyril Lonnie and Mary Christine Miller Adams. He was a member of Revolution Church of Jasper. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard.

He is preceded in death by daughter, Christin Lee Pace.

He is survived by wife of 19 years, Lee Ann Williams Adams; sons Mark and Jenny Adams, of Muscatine, Iowa, Clint and Julie Adams, of Ellijay, K. Brandon DeLong, of Ellijay; grandchildren, Agustin Gonzales, Justin Pace, Faith Pace, Wesley Pace, Destiny Pace, Elijah DeLong and Aiden DeLong; sisters, Karen and Skip Van Nus, of Hahira, Pam Barnett, of Hahira; brother, Timothy Adams, of Chatsworth; and numerous nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14, 2022, at the Logan Funeral Home & Chapel with the Rev. Skip Van Nus and the Rev. Chad Elliott officiating.

Interment was in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Cemetery.
