Hannah Frady honored in LaGrange Daily News 20 under 40 magazine

Troup County High School teacher Hannah Frady was named the teacher of the year for the Troup County School System earlier this year. Frady, 30, has been a teacher at Troup High for four years. She’s originally from Dalton, but she was raised in Elljay.

150 elementary students receive gifts

The Christmas season was a little more merrier for 150 Gilmer students. A truckload of gifts made its way to Gilmer’s elementary schools last Tuesday and was delivered by students in Josh Snider’s entrepreneurship class at Gilmer High School.
