Mr. Lyndon Guinn Loudermilk, 61, of Ellijay, went home to be with the Lord  Saturday, Aug. 20, 2022, at his residence. He was born in Ducktown, Tenn., to the late Max Loudermilk and Eleanor (Bearfield) Long.

Shirley A. Waters

Mrs. Shirley A. Waters 76, of Ellijay died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2022, at her residence with family by her side. She was born Feb.  24, 1946, in Ellijay, to the late Ed Adam Watkins and Edna Colley Watkins. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family.

Dr. Ginger Minton Marine

Dr. Ginger Minton Marine, 70, of Ellijay, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022, in Gainesville. She was born in Tallahassee, Fla., July 21, 1952, to the late Richard and Louise Minton. She is survived by  children, Amanda Evans, of Flowery Branch, David Marine, of Marshall, N.C.

Raymond Junior Vick

Mr. Raymond Junior Vick, 68, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022, at his residence. He was born Jan. 16, 1954, in Gilmer County, to the late Raymond Vick and Eudine Crump Vick. He was employed by the Shaw Textile Mill and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Ellijay.

Leonard Howard Abercrombie

Mr. Leonard Howard Abercrombie, 81, of Ellijay, died Monday, Aug. 15, 2022, at Parkside Nursing Home in Ellijay. He was born Dec. 29, 1940, in Gilmer County, to the late Richard Abercrombie and Lorena Smith Abercrombie.

Earl Oran Towery

Mr. Earl Oran Towery, 86, of Whitestone, passed away peacefully Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022. He was born Dec. 29, 1935, the youngest of four children born to Clara Moses and William Marshall Towery. He grew up in Whitestone. The summer he turned 15, he left for Marietta to work.

Adam Joseph Lynch

Mr. Adam Joseph Lynch, 32, of Ellijay, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2022. He was born in Greenville, S.C. to Michael and Janet Copley Lynch. He was a high school graduate; he owned and operated a demolition service.

Marilyn Janet Adams

Ms. Marilyn Janet Adams was born Feb. 9, 1953, in Oakdale, La. She passed away peacefully, Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022. She is preceded in death by parents Lodie Adams Sr. and Maggie Lurline Simpson Adams; and brother, Lodie Lynn Adams. She is survived by sister, Lou Anne Fuglaar, of Pineville, La.
