Raymond Junior Vick

Mr. Raymond Junior Vick, 68, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022, at his residence.

He was born Jan. 16, 1954, in Gilmer County, to the late Raymond Vick and Eudine Crump Vick. He was employed by the Shaw Textile Mill and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Ellijay.

He is preceded in death by son, Jason Vick; and sister, Edith Padgett.

He is survived by wife, Katherine Curtis Vick, of Ellijay; daughters, Michelle Cartin and Heather Vick, both of Ellijay; brothers, Stanley Vick and Robert Vick, both of Ellijay; sister, Glenda King, of Ellijay; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 2022, from Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. John Reece, the Rev. Russell Hood and the Rev. David Nicholson officiating.

Interment was in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Cory Cartin, Austin Cartin- Vick, Blake Cartin, Stanley Vick, Robert Vick and Donald Cartin.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
