Singing proud on Veterans Day – The young members of the Ellijay Elementary School Chorus, under the direction of Katie Mayfield, lift spirits with their singing during an honorary Veterans Day program held Friday, Nov. 11. Due to rain, Gilmer County’s Veterans Day parade was cancelled and the honorary program moved indoors to the Gilmer High School Gym.
