The Snippet Bus, a mobile veterinary provider, made its first trip to Gilmer County last week for a spay/neuter clinic hosted by Friends of Gilmer Animal Shelter (FOGAS).

This busy northernmost entrance to Highland Crossing shopping center off Highway 515 will soon have construction equipment nearby. An underground pipe will be worked on at night, but disruptions to traffic are possible, according to East Ellijay Police Chief Larry Callahan.
