Ellijay council OKs accepting Shrine Club Drive
A couple of attendees at last Saturday’s Bethlehem Peace Light ceremony at Good Samaritan Catholic Church get their candles and lanterns lit in order to carry the flame to their homes and/or respective churches. From left are Ginger Hussian, Richard Byers, organizer Jack Planchard and Monsignor Jaime Barona, a retired priest from Gainesville. Planchard said the flame traveled around 6,500 miles to get from Bethlehem to Ellijay.
Bethlehem Peace Light finds way to Ellijay again
Above is a preview of Gilmer High’s new video scoreboard that will be installed at Huff-Mosley Memorial Stadium. The 21’x36.75’ dimensions of the board are fully programmable and can be used entirely for video or for advertisements and game information as seen above. The bottom 4’x32’ portion of the scoreboard can be used independently without video integration operated by a regular scoreboard controller.
