One hundred fifty five runners made their way through downtown Ellijay last Saturday for the annual Apple Festival 5K Road Race. Ellijay’s Alex Stolz (above, bib 644) won with a time of 16:59.

I’m Veronica Kincaid, and I’m blessed to say that I have lived in East Ellijay my entire life.  I’m the daughter of Gail Painter and the late Ronnie Kincaid. My grandparents, Jim and Dorothy Kincaid, raised me on the same street where I still live today.

My name is Al Fuller. I’m currently an Ellijay City Councilmember and seeking re-election. I was born in downtown Ellijay to Mary Virginia and Bandy Fuller. I am one of their four children.  My wife, Cindy, and I will celebrate our 42nd anniversary on the 25th of this month.
