One hundred fifty five runners made their way through downtown Ellijay last Saturday for the annual Apple Festival 5K Road Race. Ellijay’s Alex Stolz (above, bib 644) won with a time of 16:59.

The gears will soon be turning for the Apple Country Classic Auto Club’s biggest yearly event. The Apple Classic Car Show will be held Saturday, Oct. 14, at Victory Christian Center, 208 Victory Circle. Registration will start at 8 a.m.
