In loving memory of Zelma Burrell McWhirter, May 4, 1927 – Aug. 9, 2021.
She is preceded in death by husband, Lenord McWhirter; parents, Grady and Ophie Reece Burrell; and brother-in-law, Weyman Cox.
She is survived by son, Garry McWhirter, of Holly Springs; sisters, Juanita Burrell, of Holly Springs, Barbara Cox, of Cumming; nephews, Jim Cox and wife, Lydia, of Cumming, Tom Cox and wife, Connie, of Woodstock; great-nephews, Rex Cox and Ty Cox; great-nieces, Anna Cox Mauldin and husband, Austin and Taryn Grace Cox; and great-great-niece, Gracie Ann Mauldin.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13, 2021, at the chapel of Darby Funeral Home.
Interment was in Cherokee Memorial Park in Canton.
