Ms. Joann Holden, 83, of Cartersville, died Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the Cartersville Center for Nursing and Healing.
She was born Oct. 10, 1939, in Ellijay, to the late Benjamin Holden and Rosa Stanley Holden.
She loved flowers and birds and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and singing gospel music.
She was retired from working as a physical therapist for Starcrest Nursing Home in Cartersville.
She is preceded in death by husband, William McDonald; sons, Richard Goss and Harrison Titus Goss; and daughter, Deanna England.
She is survived by son, Barney Goss; daughter, Donna Mobley; eight grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2023, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Ray officiating.
Interment will be in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 21, 2023, from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
Flowers and food will be accepted in memory of Ms. Joann Holden.
