William Martin Bretherton, 91, of Jasper, died June 1, 2020, at Pruitt Health Care in Jasper.
He was born Nov. 5, 1928, to John and Marion Bretherton in Philadelphia, Pa.
He is preceded in death by wife, Beverly Bretherton; and brother, John P. “Jack” Bretherton.
He is survived by sons, Martin Bretherton Jr., of Canton, Robert Bretherton, of Ellijay, John Bretherton, of Payson, Ariz. and Fred Bretherton, of Norwalk, Conn.; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Philadelphia, Pa.
