William Andrew Gooch, 19, of Cherry Log, died Tuesday, July 27, 2021.
He was born May 26, 2002, to William Anthony and Dawn Elizabeth Rice Gooch.
He was a graduate of Gilmer High School, Class of 2020, worked as a launch technician for Blue Ridge Boat Rentals and was a member of the Boardtown Church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by grandfather, David Lanier Rice; and grandparents, Robert Fleming Rice and Joyce Rice Taylor.
He is survived by father and mother, William Anthony and Dawn Gooch, of Cherry Log; sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth Gooch and Dustin Cooper, of Canton; fiancé, Skylar Wright, of Mineral Bluff; grandparents, William Daniel and Marie Kyle Gooch, of Kennesaw, Charlette Washer Rice, of Chatsworth; uncle and aunts, Jeff and Katie Rice, of Atlanta, Dana and Jeff Payne, of Cherry Log, Ellen and Barry Payne, of Woodstock; and several cousins.
Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, 2021, at the Logan Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021, at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Matt Amos and Minister Cody Bearden officiating.
Interment will follow at the Boardtown Church of Christ Cemetery.
