Wesly James Epperson

Mr. Wesly James Epperson, 38, of Ellijay, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022.

He was born May 6, 1984, in Lumpkin County, to Ermelleana Lambert and Danny Epperson.

He was a 2002 graduate of Gilmer High School and worked as a mechanic. He was a loving husband and father.

He is survived by wife of 18 years, Danielle Epperson; children, Jase and Emma Epperson; mother, Ermelleana Lambert; stepfathers, Jody Gobble and Travis Davis; father, Danny Epperson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gary and Evelyn Tankersley; sister and brother-in-law, Haley and Luke Logan; grandparents, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022, from Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. Luke Logan and the Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating. Inurnment was in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers were Darrell Epperson, Eddie Harper, Charlie Shore, Larry Stokes and Clinton Waldrip.
