Walter Willis

Mr. Walter Willis, 75, of Ellijay, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019.

He was born May 12, 1944, in Murray County, to the late George Washington and Emmie Quarles Willis. He was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by wife, Hilda Garland Willis; children, Kevin Willis, Mary Beth (Jodie) Ralston, all of Ellijay; sisters, Barbara Blackwell, Ruth Ann Barker, both of Dalton; grandchildren, Sarah Grace Willis and Kevin Michael Willis.

At Walt’s request, a private graveside service was held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, in the Jesus Church Cemetery on Big Creek Road with family officiating.
