Mr. Ted L. McDaniel, 70, of Ellijay, died Wednesday, June 16, 2021.
He was born Oct. 6, 1950, to the late Byron and Betty Daniels-McDaniel, in Atlanta.
He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a heavy equipment operator and mechanic for Pike Electric and Atlanta Gear and Axle.
He was a charter member of Cartecay Baptist Church, where he was deacon emeritus, youth Sunday school teacher, van driver and drummer for worship.
He is preceded in death by sister, Toni Gorban.
He is survived by wife of 31 years, Shellie Holloway-McDaniel; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Crystal McDaniel, of California; sister and brother-in-law, Keith and Jean McDaniel-Carroll, of McDonough; sister and brother-in-law, Mike and Shannon Holloway-Sumner; and many nieces and nephews, whom he loved deeply.
He touched many lives and left a positive and loving legacy!
A celebration of life service will be held at Cartecay Baptist Church at a later date.
