Mr. Steven Ray Weissinger, 33, of Ellijay, died Sunday, July 11, 2021.
He was born March 11, 1988, in Dalton, to parents John Dearman and Linda Jean (Smith) Weissinger. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved riding four-wheelers and was a former professional freestyle four-wheeler performer.
Survivors include his parents, John and Linda Weissinger, of Ellijay, brother, William and Mary Ray, of Brooklet, sister Lindsey and Eric Bedwell, of Ellijay, uncles and aunts, Lynn and Wallace Tudor, Ray and Judy Weissinger, all of Ellijay, Richard and Lorraine Weissinger, Sandersville, Jimmy and April Smith, of Ellijay, and several cousins also survive.
Visitation was held Friday, July 16, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services were held Friday, July 16, 2021, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Harold Willis and the Rev. Emuel Sanford officiating.
