Mr. Scott Thomas Wood, 54, of Ellijay, died Thursday, May 13, 2021.
He was born Oct. 8, 1966, in White Plains, N.Y., to the late Everett “Woody” and Gail Doerr Wood.
He served honorably in the United States Army where he received the Army Service Ribbon, Army Good Conduct Medal, Parachutist Badge,
Expert (rifle) Marksman (grenade).
He is survived by many family and friends who he loved.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2021, at the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with the North Georgia Honor Guard officiating.
Interment was in the Georgia National Cemetery.
