Roy Ronald Price

First Sergeant Roy Ronald Price, (Ret.), 84, of Talking Rock, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022, at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper.

He is survived by wife of 63 years, Judith Mae Price; sons, Roy D. Price (Theda), of Blairsville; Timothy W. Price, of Graysville, Ala.; Jeremy R. Price (Mandy), of Chatsworth; daughter, Jennifer Anderson (Danny), of Talking Rock; sister, Jane Coffey (James), of Knoxville, Tenn.; brother, Fred Price (Charlotte), of Belpre, Ohio; grandchildren, Natalie, Wayne, Joseph, Gracie, Phillip, Amanda, Ashley, Ronnie, Bethany, Eli, Josh, Becky, Josie, Griffin and Rachel; and 20 great-grandchildren.

  A graveside inurnment will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022, at the Georgia National Cemetery with military rites by the United States Army and an escort by the Patriot Guard Riders.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in honor of Mr. Roy R. Price to “The Wounded Warrior Project” or “Homes for our Troops.”
