Rosie Stanley Neal

Mrs. Rosie Stanley Neal, 97, of Ellijay, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022, at her residence with loved ones by her side.

She was born March 20, 1925, to the late Sanford Stanley and Nola Bearden Stanley. She was employed at GoldKist for many years and was a member of Pisgah Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by son, Richard.

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd and Donna Neal; daughters and son-in-law, Peggy Jennette, of Green County, Kathy Ballew, of Chatsworth, Karen and Johnny Wright; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Minister Terry Stuart officiating.

Interment was in the Yukon Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Justin Neal, Jimmy Neal, Jefferey Neal, Scott Wells, Randal Rhudy and Lloyd Neal.
