Mr. Ronnie B. Crook, 60, of Ellijay, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020, following injuries received in a trucking accident in Wyteville, Va. He was born Oct. 31, 1960, in Pickens County, to the late Raymond and Pauline Matthews Crook.

He was a graduate of Gilmer High School, served with the U.S. Navy and was a truck driver for Mohawk Carpets. 

He is preceded in death by wife, Kathryn Crook.

He is survived by stepchildren, Ricky McCoy, Tammy Ellison, Theresa McCoy and Willie McCoy; brothers and sister-in-law, Donnie and Shane Crook, Barry Crook; nieces, Destiny Dotson, Jessica and Gene Rice and Shanese and Cory Larmon; six grandchildren; and
several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2020, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Glen Arnold officiating. 

Pallbearers will be Evan Weaver, Gary Matthews, Jacob Matthews, Travis Matthews, Lanier Matthews and Travis Farist. 

Interment will be in the Yukon Cemetery with military honors by the North Georgia Honor Guard.

The family will meet with friends Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020, from 1-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
