Rebecca Anne Watkins

Ms. Rebecca Anne Watkins, 47, of Ellijay, died Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Grady Hospital in Atlanta.

She was born Dec. 9, 1974, in Copperhill, Tenn., to Larry David Breeden and Elizabeth Anne Long.

She was a member of  Rock Creek Baptist Church and a graduate of Gilmer High School, class of 1993. She was a kind and loving person who loved God and her family.

She was an avid Georgia Bulldog and James Patterson fan. She also loved to cook, bake and travel.

She is survived by parents, Larry and Anne Breeden, of Cherry Log; son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Macie Watkins, of Cherry Log.

A celebration of life was held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2022, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Darvin Couch officiating.

Music was by Barry Abernathy.
