Randolph Thurman McPhetridge

Mr. Randolph Thurman McPhetridge, 80, of Ellijay, died Monday, Sept. 7, 2020. 

He was born Sept. 21, 1939, in Louisville, Ky., to the late Woodrow McPhetridge and Nancy Hibbard. 

He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. 

He is preceded in death by stepmother, Gladys McPhetridge; and sister-in-law, Christine McPhetridge.  

He is survived by brother, Leland McPhetridge, of Keavy, Ky.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and the Rev. L.D. Campbell and  Janice and Bill Presiler, all of Florence, Ky.; daughters, Kathy Smith and Vicki Stanford, of Oregon; dear friend, Margie Grant, of Ellijay; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Rosser and the Rev. L.D. Campbell officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery with military rites by the North Georgia Honor Guard.  

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service hour at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020, at the funeral home.
