Phyllis J. Huey

Mrs. Phyllis J. Huey,  79, of Ellijay, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022, at Northside Hospital Cherokee.

She was born Oct. 5, 1943, in Clay County, W.Va., to the late Robert Ed Adkins and Amanda Losh Adkins.

She is preceded in death by husband, Leonard Huey.

She is survived by special friends, Idell Teasley, Tracy and Randy Watkins, Mary and Mark Henson and John and Robin Seiwell.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Dotson and the Rev. Anthony Stonecipher officiating.

Interment was in Yukon Cemetery.

Pallbearers were John Seiwell, Mark Henson, Kainan Henson, Michael Henson, Randy Watkins, Doug Wix and Kobe Stonecipher.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
