Ms. Mary Ellen Kincaid Hancock, 57, of Ellijay, died Monday, Aug. 9, 2021, at Seasons Hospice in Cumming. She was born Dec. 22, 1963, in Pickens County, to Frank Kincaid and Minnie Sue Perry. She was a member of Black Knob Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by father, Frank Kincaid and mother, Minnie Sue Perry; daughter, Missy Sue Kincaid; and brother, Clarence Kincaid.
She is survived by caregiver and companion, Raymond Griffin; daughter, Mary Beth (Mitchel Keith) Hightower, of Ellijay; son, Joshua James Hancock, of Talking Rock; brother, James Alan Barrett, of Norcross; sisters, Lydia Kincaid, of Murray County, Norma Parks and Miranda Barrett Elischer, both of Talking Rock; stepfather, James Robert Barrett; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time.
