Ms. Martha Nell Patterson, 65, of Blue Ridge, died suddenly Saturday, July 24, 2021.
She was born in Fannin County Jan. 11, 1956, to the late Havern Cecil Patterson and Dollie Mae Lowery Patterson Stepp.
She is preceded in death by stepfather, Earnest Stepp, Jerry Garrett; and brothers, Charles and Jimmy Patterson.
She was an avid caregiver and spent her life caring for others in facilities and in their homes and was loved dearly by her patients. She was an amazing lady and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Tgrea Wilson, of Waleska; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Rhonda Milsap, of Jasper; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Wanda Patterson, Kenneth Patterson, Joel and Tammy Stepp, all of Blue Ridge; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley Radford, of Bradenton, Fla., Dorothy Mayfield, Karen and Roy Blackston, of Morganton, Beverly and Ron Shaub, of Marble N.C.; sister-in-law. Rosalie Patterson, of Perry; grandchildren, Bryce Wilson, Scotty Ivey, and Katie Jo Corbin; and honorary grandchild, Waylon Garrett.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2021, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Ithial Jones officiating.
Interment was in Yukon Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Coby Dyer, Havern Mayfield, Heath Mayfield, Scotty Ivey, Brandon Garrett and Robert Garrett.
