Ms. Audrey Jane Tarr

Ms. Audrey Jane Tarr, 90, of Ellijay, died Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at her residence. 

She was born Dec. 14, 1929, to Edward and Doris Whisson, in Chicago, Ill. She was a member of Ellijay First United Methodist Church and was a devoted Sunday school teacher who enjoyed doing volunteer ministry, sewing dolls for disabled children. 

She is preceded in death by husband of 67 years, Earl Tarr; sister, Dorothy Whisson Ender; and brother, Thomas Whisson. 

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, the Rev. Allan and Rachel Tarr, of Ellijay; grandchildren, Terry Allan Tarr, April Tarr Noa and Cami Tarr Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Elliott Bay Reynolds, Samuel Walker Reynolds, Emery Anne Noa and Jackson Oliver Noa. 

A private family visitation and service will be announced at a later date.
