Mrs. Wilma Lee Holguin, 70, died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021, at her residence.
She was born in Gilmer County March 27, 1951, to J.T. Stanley and Georgia Jones Stanley.
She is preceded in death by son, Anthony Holguin; and grandson, Justin Holguin; brother, Romie Stanley; sisters, Janie German, Evelyn Mullinax, Judy Silvers and Peggy Davis.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by ERB of Woodstock where she worked as a machine operator. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Bartow County.
She is survived by husband, Pete Holguin; sons, Shane Holguin and Joseph Holguin; daughters, Tina Self (Jermie) and Barriana Morris; brothers, Bobby Stanley and Dave Stanley; sister, Dale Teem; grandchildren, Kayla Self (Landon), Georgia Holguin, Courtney Gilstrap (Eli), Cameron Holguin, Emily Downey (Jonathan), Thomas Holguin (Amanda), Timmy Holguin (Ashley), Ashley Holguin, Izabella (Izzy) Buttrum, and Rozae Moody; great-grandchildren, Sammy and Carson Gilstrap and Ellerie Holguin; special adopted grandson, Gunnar Haygood; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Bartow County with the Rev. Forrest Leachman and Eric Duncan officiating.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Cameron Holguin, Tom Holguin, Timmy Holguin, Eli Gilstrap, Jonathan Downey and Landon Ayers.
Honorary pallbearers were Eric Duncan and Joey Mullinax.
Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
