Mrs. Sherry Diane Swafford, 66, of Cohutta, died Friday, Aug. 6, 2021, at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton.
She was born in East Point, Oct. 20, 1954, to Bobby Elbert Denmon Sr. and Sarah Kuykendall Denmon. She was a registered nurse and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her father; and brothers, Bobby Elbert Denmon Jr. and Steven Timothy Denmon.
She is survived by mother, Sarah Denmon, of Bremen; husband, Tim Swafford; sons, Tim Swafford, of Ballground, and Tony Swafford, of Gainsville; daughters, Sherry Hall, of Ellijay and Melanie McNeese, of Cohutta; brother, Greg Denmon, of Stockbridge; sisters, Angelia Hill, of Bowden, Cecile Dozier, of Bremen, Tammy Biles, of Newnan, Teresa Fowler, of McDonough, Jodi Denmon, of White, and Audrey Edwards, of Newnan; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Mitchell Pack officiating.
Interment was in Yukon Cemetery.
Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
