Mrs. Sharla Lanette McFarland

Mrs. Sharla Lanette McFarland, 49, of Ellijay, died at her home Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020.

She was born July 16, 1970, in Fort Worth, Texas, to William “Don” and Karen Lanette Goodwin Davenport. 

She graduated from Coweeta High School in 1988 and attended Powers Ferry Church of Christ and Ellijay Church of Christ. 

She is survived by husband, John B. McFarland; daughters and son-in-law, Ashley Pearson, of Chatsworth, Kristen (Steven) Dillbeck, of Ellijay, Leanna Pearson, of Atlanta; grandchildren, Madalyn Turner, Aspen Summer, Molly Dillbeck; mother, Karen L. Davenport, of Acworth; sister and brother-in-law, Jill (Chad) Carter, of Acworth; brothers and sisters-in-law,  Scott  (Jennifer) Davenport, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Troy (Molly) Davenport, of Florence, Ala. 

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020, at the Logan Funeral Home & Chapel with Minister Butch Jones officiating. Visitation will begin at noon until the service time.
