Mrs. Rebecca Ray Smith

Mrs. Rebecca Ray Smith, 42, of Talking Rock, died Thursday, July 30, 2020.

She was born Sept. 4, 1977, in Fulton County, to  Freddie and Janet Davenport Ray. 

She was a 1996 graduate of Gilmer High School, member of East Ellijay Baptist Church and was employed by Walmart.

She is survived by husband, Jason Smith; children, Josiah Smith, of Cartersville, Megan Smith and Raychel Smith, both of Talking Rock; parents, Freddie and Janet Ray, of Ellijay; and a host other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020, in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Chad Kelly officiating.  

Music was by Joe Hensley. 

Pallbearers were  Josiah Smith, Christopher Padgett, Steven Robertson, Raychel Smith, Justin Davenport and Evan Davenport. 

Interment was in the Yukon Cemetery.
