Mrs. Minnie Elizabeth (Jones) Stillwell, 94, of Ellijay, passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021.
She was born September 10, 1926, to her late parents Clinton and Artie Mabell (Ash) Jones in Ellijay.
She was a member of Gospel Temple Baptist Church and was a home- maker and enjoyed farming and gardening.
She is preceded in death by husband Joel L. Stillwell, sister, Ruthelle Jones, and brothers Jack Jones, Will Jones and Gene Jones.
A funeral service will be Thursday, May 13, 2021, at 2 p.m. at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Franklin Harper, the Rev. William Cruse and the Rev. Clyde Jones officiating.
Mono Kahn, Thomas Speir, Clinton Jones, George Jones, Donald Dale, Tommy Jones, Wayne Jones, Squeak Jones and Donnie Dunn are serving as pallbearers.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Barbara and the Rev. Willie Young, Betty and the Rev. Monroe Cruse and Jeanette Stillwell, all Ellijay; sons and daughters-in-law Billy Stillwell, Joel Donald and Monica Stillwell, all Ellijay; grandchildren, Candra and Thomas Speir, Suzanne and Mono Kahn, William and Amanda Cruse, Hunter Stillwell, Elizabeth Stillwell and Mikey Payne; great-grandchildren, Durham Speir, Kaiden, Karene Noel and Noble Kahn, Madison, Payton and Paisley Cruse and MaKayla Payne; sisters Mary Alice Jones and Rebecca Jones, both Ellijay.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 12, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Logan Funeral Home. Flowers are being accepted.
