Mrs. Lucille Virginia Aaron

Mrs. Lucille Virginia Aaron, 77, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022.

She was born in Murphy, N.C., Sept. 17, 1944, to the late Norman Beavers and Wilma Grant Beavers.

She is preceded in death by husband, Charles William Aaron; and brother, Harold Beavers.

She was retired from Regal Rugs and was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church. She loved cooking, watching her birds and squirrels and most of all, she loved and cherished her family.

She is survived by sons, James Aaron (Rhonda), and Mark Aaron (Devin); daughters, Brenda Mullinax (Anthony), and Linda Brewer (Bobby); sister-in-law, Leola Beavers; special friends, Sandra and Andy Key, Marilynn Griggs, and Ernest and Barbara Watkins; grandchildren, Jody Talley, Danny Mullinax, Sybil Rymer, Zach Gassett, Morgan Aaron, David Aaron, Leah Aaron, and Hope Dickey; six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Russell Hood and the Rev. Phillip Davenport officiating.

Interment was in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Murphy.

Pallbearers were Zach Gassett, Gary Chadwick, Greg Griggs, Jackie Ellington, Greg Norton, Danny Mullinax and Sam Brooks.

Honorary pallbearers were Andy Key, Ernest Watkins, Jim Dotson, Mitch Mullinax, David Mullinax and Phillip Davenport.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
