Mrs. Loretta Kay Pourron

Mrs. Loretta Kay Pourron, 73, of Ellijay died Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at her residence.

She was born Aug. 16, 1947, in St. Petersburg Fla., to the late Alfred James Gettys and Ona Lee Farrington Gettys. 

She worked as a bookkeeper for progressive restoration. She loved the beach, enjoyed being outdoors and she especially loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Calvary Way Baptist Church.

She is survived by husband, Frederick “Randy” Pourron; sons, James (Shana) Hall, of Newnan, Randy (Stephanie) Hall, of Jackson, Brian (Amanda) Hall, of Ellijay, Joe (Traci) Pourron, of McDonough; brother, Jim (Nancy) Gettys, of Oregon; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday May 29, 2021, from Calvary Way Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Fountain officiating.

Interment was in the Calvary Way Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Pallbearers were Jeremy Barber, Trey Hall, Chip Moore, Levi Seabolt, Joey Pourron and Braden Pourron.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of  arrangements.
