Mrs. Loretta Holloway Jenkins, 78, of Cherry Log, died Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at her residence.
She was born May 11, 1943, in Ellijay to the late Robert Jackson Holloway and Bessie Aslee Allen Holloway.
She was a member of Boardtown Church of Christ, loved her family dearly and always worked hard.
She is preceded in death by husband, Ernest Holt Jenkins; daughter, Coleen Jenkins; sister, Dorothy Ward; and brothers, Fred Holloway, Edward Holloway, Robert Holloway, and James Holloway.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Trish Jenkins, of Ellijay, Sandra and Coy Norton, of Cherry Log, and Connie and Devell Ferrell, of Blue Ridge; son and daughter-in-law, Junior and Sonia Jenkins, of Cherry Log; grandchildren and spouses, Katrin Headrick, Leanne Stover, Jeremy and Becky Ferrell, Kayla and Erik Giddens, Madison Jenkins and Jacob Jenkins; five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Eunice Puckett, of Cherry Log; brothers and sister-in-law, Clay Holloway, of Bowden, and Quentin and Joann Holloway, of Ellijay; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 2021, from Boardtown Church of Christ with Minister Cody Bearden, Minister Butch Jones, and Minister Tommy Kyle officiating.
Congregational singing was led by Shannon Bearden.
Pallbearers were Jeremy Ferrell, Jacob Jenkins, Blake Ledford, Bradley Head, Erik Giddens, Caelan Scarbrough, Landon Stover, James Ramsey and JR Ramsey.
Interment was in the Boardtown Church of Christ Cemetery.
